Rachel Stafford

Rachel Stafford began dancing at age three in Boston, MA and continued training upon moving to Raleigh, NC. She received additional training through UNCSA, attended Joffrey Ballet’s summer intensive, as well as Carolina Ballet’s summer intensives as a full scholarship recipient. In 2017, she graduated from the University of South Carolina, Magna Cum Laude, with a BA in Dance Performance and Choreography and a Minor in Business Administration. Under the instruction of Stacey Calvert, she performed in various works by George Balanchine and others. Following, she accepted a contract with U.S. International Ballet as a trainee, was promoted to company dancer in 2018, and Soloist in 2020. Following her first season with USIB, she attended Piacenza Art Ballet Summer in Piacenza, Italy with a full scholarship. In 2019, she accepted the position of Ballet Mistress for Justice Elite Dance Company in Morehead City, NC. Aside from Ballet, Rachel has been trained in Ballroom dance and enjoys teaching and performing various styles of Ballroom and social dances.
